Life in Littlefield

Littlefield has a very unique way of life. It offers the close-knit ways of a small town with the ideas and activities of a large city. Littlefield citizens are very proud of their heritage, and there are many landmarks throughout the city that proudly display this heritage.

Littlefield is home to a replica of the world's tallest windmill. A replica, because the original blew down in 1926. Our Veteran's Memorial was recently completed, and the Duggan House Museum offers historical information. Littlefield is home to three large community parks, twelve churches, a free-to-use RV park, and many businesses and local restaurants.

The Littlefield Municipal Airport is only a few miles from town, and Littlefield is extremely proud of the Wildcats at Littlefield Independent School District.

Littlefield is home to a 75-bed general acute care hospital, a rural health care clinic staffed by 5 family practice physicians, and a 24-hour physician staffed emergency room.
